Education Track

New Modalities. New Sumissions Opened.

This year we the Education track has broadening the scope of the Track to include:

  • Short notes on Teaching Tips & Techniques; and
  • Presentations on Outstanding Student Projects.

Authors are now invited to submit proposals for both modalities. Notes on Teaching Tips & Techniques should describe proven concrete ways to engage student interest or present difficult topics.Submissions related to Outstanding Student Projects should describe the learning context for the project and show how the student brought individual creativity to the work. Submissions of both modalities should be made in the form of a 2 page paper which must be formatted according to the Eurographics Author's guidelines (http://www.eg.org/index.php/publications/guidelines). Anonymous submissions will be made electronically through the Eurographics Submission and Review Management (SRM, https://srm.eg.org/SRM_EG2013EDU2) system and will undergo a fast review process. Accepted contributions will be briefly presented for discussion in the Education Track and the final version of the 2 page paper will be included in the conference digital media.

For any question concerning these submissions, please contact the education co-chairs. The Education track will also include a moderated discussion of the progress of computer graphics programs in meeting the Bologna requirements. Collegues interested in participating should also contact education co-chairs.
