Lab Presentations

All Computer Graphics Research Labs are invited to present themselves - and possibly one of their major projects - during the conference.
Accepted lab-presentations will be stored in the EG Special online section for Eurographics 2013.
To document and archive this we hope to receive information from all relevant sites.

Authors of accepted lab-presentations will be able to present their lab as an oral presentation during the conference.

Submission Details

Submitted lab-presentations should be in the form of a 2 page paper which must be formatted according to the Eurographics Author's guidelines and may be accompanied by a preliminary version of the actual slide presentation if the authors wish it.

Lab Presentation proposals must be sent by email to the Lab Presentation co-chairs by e-mail at labspresentationchairs@eg2013.udg.edu.

The full proposal should contain the following information:

• Paper titles: must contain lab details:
  • Name of Lab
  • Institution and/or affiliations
  • Head of Lab : name and email address
  • URL(s)
• Paper outline could stick to the following structure (given as an example):
  1. Scientific Introduction:
     Areas of expertise
     Lab history
  2. Staff
     Staff names and affiliations
     Number of PhD students, Postdoctoral fellows, Engineers.
     Total number of employees
  3. Facilities
     Rooms and locations
     Equipments
     Platforms
  4. Collaborations
     Funding
     Important Recent Industrial Partners
     Important Recent Academic Partners
  5. Projects
     Current and important projects
  6. Publications
     Publication topic and strategy
     Key publications
  7. Future of the lab

Authors of accepted submission must send their final version in two formats, a 2 page paper and a 12 slides pdf presentation. Both formats will be included in the lab- presentations proceedings and on the conference digital media.

The deadline for the submission of proposals is extended to February 17th. 2013, with notification of acceptance on March 8th, 2013.
